Just back last night from two weeks in Paradise.Wish it had been much longer,but 2 weeks is better than nothing. Food up to scratch at all our favourite restaurants-in fact we had our youngest son with us for the Ist week and his description of the full english breakfast at The Secret Garden was "awesome". The rest of us fully agreed with him. The evening meals are pretty damn good as well. Several excellent meals were consumed at The Three Brothers, Ali Baba's(complete with dancing waiters),the kofta place in the village and various other little Turkish places with unpronounceable names. For the Ist time ever on a foreign holiday we had a traditional Sunday lunch (albeit at 10-30 on Sunday evening) at Morgul Antic. One word-"delicious". We would like to wish Thomas&crew all the very best of luck in their new venture at the Honeypot. Thomas makes one mean "wet lips"!!!!!!! Thanx also to Ugur at The Outside Bar& the staff at the little cafe a couple of doors away for our Thursday feasts after the traumas of the market. You'd go a very long way to meet a nicer man than Ugur. We have all returned home half a stone heavier&the diets started this morning. Everyone with holidays still to come in Yali-ENJOY!!!!!!!

Hi Ken & Deryle can you please tell me where the secret garden is thanks also got family in yali at the moment and they are raving about the honeypot cant wait to try when we are there in august will also try the secret garden

Come out of the village at the Ali Baba end and follow the road straight ahead past the Dede, the Taskule etc. Over the little humpback bridge-on past the Three Brothers,The Mercan Story(where we stay), Musti's, Onur&The Kivanc. Secret Garden just a little bit further on the right. A warm welcome&lovely food. You certainly won't come away hungry. Enjoy your visit in August-really wish we were going again

Can someone tell me where the honeypot is as i'd like to try it in August.

It's just across the road from the Belediyesi iskele cafe, and childrens rides,, if you know where the fish stalls are it is behind them, just walk past them,past Smile phone shop, turn left at Cagdas Properties and you will see the Honey Pot, highly recomended.

HI ALL, JUST TO LET YOU KNOW WE WERE OUT IN YALI TILL 7TH JULY AND ATE IN THE HONEY POT, THE FOOD IS WONDERFUL AND YOU GET A GOOD AMOUNT. THE STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY(AS ALWAYS IN TURKEY) AND WE WOULD RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO TRY IT. tHE FIRST RESTAURANT ON THE SIDE FRONT IS ALSO UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AS WELL AS DENIZ HAS BOUGHT A SHARE THAT ALSO IS GOOD AND WORTH A VISIT. 20TH SEPT CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH. BEST REGARDS TO ALL
