I have one more question does anyone know where I can buy metal bunkbeds locally I have found wooden ones but they are twice the price as in England, the only ones I can find are at ikea but they want £50 to deliver them from Izmir. Couple of people on our complex have them I think they got them in Bodrum, but it was a couple of years ago. Have you tried the furniture places on the main road going down to Oasis Centre? Idas or Edas? was one place I think (dodgy memory)

I searched in loads of furniture shops in the Bodrum area for bunkbeds in April when I was out buying all the furniture for our new place in Yalikavak. I wanted metals bunkbeds, but none of the shops had them in stock, although several shops showed me photos in catalogues of ones they could order. Eventually on the way home we called at a furniture shop in Yalikavak and they had nice metal bunkbeds in stock - at a very reasonable price too. They were delivered within about 48 hours and I am very pleased with them.
It was a shop near the dolmus station and market area. I'll try and find my receipt and let you have the shop name and details if I can find them.
