Re: Portable Gas Heaters

We got one last Winter but bought it of a friend...They are VERY expensive to run you get about 40 hours out of a gas bottle. We invested in a oil filled radiater today 249 tl Koç Taş.

...and much better for thy apartment/house as well, as the gas heater makes it very wet inside.

Re: Portable Gas Heaters

a good aircon unit is probably more energy efficient to run on heating - go for an inverter.

Re: Portable Gas Heaters

aygas sells them in any town...i think beko shops etc. sell them also.

i dont think 40 hours heat for the price of a bottle of gas is too bad if you want instant heat in comparison with the cost of electricity now and going up all the time.
on the other hand an oiled filled electric radiator gives a nice gentle heat especially in a bedroom.
i use a multifuel wood/coal burning stove in winter and find that is the cheapest and most pleasant form of heating in this damp at night med winter climate..
