News from Yasmin

Hi all, just back and what a lovely time we had furnishing our appartment. The site is absolutely fantastic, a bit more work to do and its still a bit dusty but they have done a really good job, the pool is grown and is tiled ready to be filled 1st May just a little bit of tiling to do on the perimeter.

The office staff at Yasmin (Darlene and Wayne) have been very helpful and have done their utmost to get the snagging done whilst we were there, it was done very quickly and we are very pleased with our appartment now. They even got me a carpenter for the extras on the kitchen which really was my concern so I am very grateful as I could cook a meal before I came home.

I would just like to mention because I dont think most of you know that the services that yasmin offer like the car hire, airport transfer, provision of bottled gas etc are just the same prices as elsewhere, we had car hire for £20 a day from another company and the transfer was £10 ea way per person from the other company - it is the same price from yasmin infact the car hire would have been cheaper from yasmin if we had it over a week - I only mention this as it has been said that yasmin services are more expensive but we have learnt theyre not.

We all have satalite dishes installed already they were put on the roof when we were their and I believe we will be able to receive loads of english channels but we will be required to buy the box which is only a 1 off payment - isnt that good no monthy charges!, we didn't get the TV this time but it will be on the agenda for March. I personnaly think its better to buy the box through the builder as you are sure of compatibility and back up if problems arise.

When we went out to yasmin we had loads of concerns, after bombarding the solicitor with questions and chatting to the people in the office I must admit we have come home a lot less worried now - I have started this new thread with good news and some nice piccies

Hi Lynn, I will be giving you a ring when I get chance we were back at work on Wed and I need a holiday again now! Its great shopping out there if you have cash on hand, its better to bargain with, and they delivery straight away and put your furniture together or install if its white goods. Did you all know Jokers is closed we went to Castle Diner for new year with our new neighbours food was very nice.

we agree with Mo and Tom.

We had a great experience.

The office staff at Yasmin were helpful and we have been impressd with how quickly the builder has been dealing with our snags.

We are also impressed with the services we received when we there - the furniture we bought was built and positioned by the furniture shop, our curtains were made to our spec and hung perfectly by the curtain shop, the white goods were plumbed in and tested fully by the white goods people. All rubbish also removed. All within a day! Imagine that in England!

We got sky installed by the firm the builder recommended. The service was efficient and professional. Our sky is fully functioning - all 1400 channels!

We hope you all have as pleasant experience as we have had so far.

Sharon & Marc

Hi - We are new members of this site but was interested to see your message about visiting Yasmin. We go out next week to see our duplex for the first time. Wondered just how cold it is out there at the moment? Glad to hear you are delighted with your apartment hopefully we will be the same. Darleen has been terrific. We have struggled with contact with the lawyer though. Did you buy through Parador?
