How are things?

It's gone very quiet on this forum. Has anyone been to Yasmin Gardens lately? How are things there, and does anyone have any photographs that they can post?

Re: How are things?

Hi Robbo. John and I were out at Yasmin in March to furnish and the complex is coming on great. We are out for 2 weeks from 16th June and am sure we will be pleasantly surprised , as the plants and tree should be more establised, and the pools will be filled. Will try and send some pics for you when we get back. When are you out again.

Re: How are things?

I put some May pics on previous post that our new neighbour sent, its looking very tidy now and the grass is growing nicely but some patches and all the planting has been done. We are back out in a couple of weeks Ill post some more pics also. The office is organising trips and the bars on both sites are open. The internet option is running our neighbour has his up and running and it seems very good.

Re: How are things?

Hello all
We arrived back on the 2 June .Phase 1 and the villas look brill they cut the grass while we were there it was so nice to have grass under your feet rather than soil .They were still working on the bar area over on phase 2 fitting it out e.t.c. Bar open on phase 1 cracking Barman called Elfie fantistic with the children speaks great English .
They had problems with the filtering system over on phase 2 pool but nothing to major teething problems i suspect, they have done an amazing job on it it looks great well thats all for now .
p.s
How are my southern softie friends getting on you know who you are.....

Re: How are things?

Thanks Mo, Shaun and Barbara for the updates. So glad that everything is looking good. Although we were at Yasmin Gardens in April you do forget how wonderful it is there especially with all the doom and gloom about the economy and fuel prices etc etc here. Anway, in just over two months we shall be back in lovely Akbuk for some well earned R&R!

Sharon and Mark are out there at the moment if they are home before I go on 20th Ill ask Sharon if she has any good pics to put on. I do believe its hot out there - it will be hotter when you go so you should all get great tan.

Hiya Mo (and all). We had a fab holiday. The phase 2 bar opened on our last night so we really did not get much oppportunity to use it but it looks fab. There are 2 bar staff now, Alfie and his nephew Hakan - Alfie speaks great English and is full of fun, Hakin is a little shy but is starting to mix and his English is coming on (I wish we could say the same about our Turkish). The Yakamoz bar will now open daytime only and the Orkide/Olivia bar will be open daytime and evening. Alfie thinks the restaurant will be open in about 2 weeks as they are having to tile it for health & safety reasons. The main pool is in operation, however it is leaking so will need to be fixed after the season is over. Akbuk is getting livelier but has not lost any of it's charm. Will post some pics once we have downloaded them. Hello to everyone we met during our stay and we are looking forward to our return late August. Enjoy your holiday!
