Weather in late September
Hi All,
First Time poster here.
I own an apartment at Yasmin (Orkide E6) and will be coming out on the 19th September for a week and looking forward to it as have not been since Xmas.
Just wondering what the weather will be like in late Sept. can anyone advise if it is still hot during the days and how chilly it might get at night?
Also, will the restuarants etc in Akbuk still be open at this time? I am guessing yes, but nice to know beforehand.
hope everyone is enjoying their purchases and if anybody is about on this week, please drop by and say hello.
Best Wishes
Simon

Hi Simon,
the weather will still be nice in Sept.Maybe you would need a light cardigan or top in the evenings depends if you feel the cold. The day time can still be very hot.
The majority of resturants will still be open in akbuk.
In fact i think Sept is probably a nice time to come as a lot of the turkish famillys have gone back to the cities so it will be a bit less busy on the beaches etc.
Hope you have a nice time whilst you are here.
Hugs Maggie xxxx

Hi Simon,
We went out last week in Sept first week October last year and it was scorching. very warm at night too if you are used to the weather in England. Think people living over there feel cooler at night as they are used to the heat. We had to sleep with nothing on.

Weather is still hot but chillier in the evenings.
The sea is nice and warm though like a hot bath!
Restaurants in Dalyan are open till end October not sure about other resorts.

One restaurant that intends to stay open in the winter in Dalyan is Denizkizi Restaurant which is part of the Dalyan Boat Co-operative.They can seat about 800 and the fish dishes are superb.

Apologies for going a bit off theme...
Good to know that Ian. We tried it in July as they'd advertised a Turkish night there on a Tuesday, but it was closed. Will try again soon.
Golbasi (on the way to the beach) is open all year round, great food and such a unique and beautiful setting. A ride on the pedalo is great, particularly if you happen to be there when the sun is going down. Once you're out of view of the restaurant, there is nothing man-made in sight - magical!

Re: Weather in late September
Dalyan usually has six or seven restaurants open in the winter. However the place I recommend is the Botanik just outside Ortaca on the main road to the airport. Superb food (better than I have tasted anywhere in Dalyan in 3 years) and far less YTL than elsewhere, brilliant staff, and in the coldest winter nights a blazing hot open fire

Hi Simon, we own Orkide E5 next door to you and we're there until 22nd september. We've learnt a lot about Akbuk over the last couple of years, so if you need to pick our brains we'll see you down the pool bar! Regards, Barb and Dave Robinson
